Job summary

Ally Medical Management LLC seeks an experienced ER nurse to provide professional nursing care in the emergency department. You will triage patients, determine priority of care, and work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to promote and restore health.

The role includes supporting procedures, administering medications, monitoring patients, and ensuring accurate documentation in the medical record. Current RN licensure and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years ER RN experience or equivalent.
• Current RN license within the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• ACLS Certification required.
• PALS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by evaluating the medical complaint or current symptoms and reporting to a physician.
• Assists physicians during exams, procedures, diagnostic testing and treatments.
• Performs IV initiation/infusion/therapy, blood draws, cardiac monitoring, pulse oximetry and nebulized treatments.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort; recognizes life-threatening conditions and responds promptly.
• Conducts head-to-toe assessments across age groups and reassesses as needed.
• Supports procedures (laceration repair, incisions, drainage, intubation, chest tube) as directed by physicians.
• Administers medications and records administration and related data in the medical record.
• Reviews discharge instructions and records vitals prior to discharge to ensure stability.
• Documents all patient care information accurately and promptly.
