Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our high-performing Emergency Department. This role offers strategic and operational leadership to drive excellent patient care and staff development.

As an exempt, full-time position, you will oversee staffing, regulatory compliance, and patient outcomes while partnering with physicians and interdisciplinary teams in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting within Trinity Health Of New England.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Connecticut RN license.
• Leadership experience in an Emergency Department (Nurse Manager or equivalent).
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center ED preferred.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• MSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Emergency Department.
• Lead staffing, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture that supports engagement and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, infection prevention, and patient safety standards.
• Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives, patient experience strategies, and department performance goals.
• Manage departmental operations, resources, and workflow to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery.
• Champion a culture of safety, accountability, compassion, and excellence.
