The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead patient care in the Emergency Department. You will direct nursing staff, apply the nursing process, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.

You will promote professional practice, participate in shared governance, and support staff development while upholding MUSC standards and policies.

Formación

• BSN required; Charleston positions may require BSN and advanced degree within four years.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience with supervisory exposure strongly encouraged.
• SC RN licensure or compact state; BLS certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary ED environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead assigned team members; collaborate with multidisciplinary staff.
• Ensure age-appropriate, patient- and family-centered care aligned with MUSC policies.
