Job summary

MUSC Marion in Mullins, SC is seeking a passionate and motivated Registered Nurse to lead our Emergency Room team. This role offers comprehensive state health benefits and retirement, with up to 6 weeks paid parental leave.

The manager will supervise ER staff, develop and improve department workflows, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. A BSN is required; MSN/DNP preferred; minimum 5 years of nursing with 2 years in supervision; SC RN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

BSN degree required.
Minimum of five (5) years of nursing work experience; three years nursing plus two years supervisory experience.
Licensure as a registered nurse by SC Board of Nursing; BLS certification required; specialty area certification preferred or within one year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

Lead one or more ER functional areas and manage staff performance.
Oversee budget and department operations to meet goals and ensure quality outcomes.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, laws, and regulations.
Collaborate with leadership to improve clinical and non-clinical workflows and productivity.
Drive initiatives and programs with impact on patient care and departmental efficiency.
