Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee the nursing unit's operations in alignment with mission, vision, and standards. The role requires nursing leadership, staff development, and a strong focus on patient advocacy and regulatory compliance.

The Nurse Manager will ensure high-quality care, drive performance improvements, and manage staffing, budgets, and patient safety initiatives within the SC Nurse Practice Act framework.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• 3 years RN experience with at least 2 years in leadership.
• Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional): None.
• Current SC RN license to practice; National nursing certification at time of hire (or within 6 months); Maintains CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational functions of nursing unit(s) in alignment with governing standards.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and staff performance; implement action plans.
• Foster collaboration and effective communication among staff and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality of care metrics.
• Develop and monitor work plans with measurable outcomes and timelines.
