Job summary

HCA Healthcare Centre Pointe ER is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced ER setting. You will assess, treat, educate, andcoordinate with physicians to ensure optimal outcomes for adults and children.

The role requires an RN license in South Carolina (or compact license) and an Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing; a Bachelor's is preferred. BLS within 30 days and ACLS within 90 days are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• < 1 year applicable experience.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days; Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in the ER.
• Assess patient pain and promote effective pain management.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Teach patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
• Support self-management and healthy lifestyle changes.
