Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ER setting. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams to assess, treat, and educate patients.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Nursing, with a BSN preferred, and must have an active RN license in South Carolina or an approved compact license. BLS and ACLS are required within set timeframes.

Qualifications

• RN coordinates and delivers high quality patient-centered care.
• Requires active RN license in state of practice or compact license.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within specified start dates.
• 1 year of applicable nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and manage pain.
• Perform procedures and monitor patients as ordered by physicians.
• Document care in patient records promptly and accurately.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up steps.
• Promote self-management and healthy lifestyle through teaching.
