HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in North Charleston, SC, seeks a PRN Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. The RN will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care in accordance with standards and procedures, supporting exceptional patient experiences and outcomes.
The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), current SC RN license, BLS and ACLS within specified timelines; prior ER or acute care experience is
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of practice (SC)
- < 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred
- ACLS and BLS certifications required or obtained within specified timeframes
- Associate degree in nursing or RN diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
Responsabilités
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team
- Perform procedures and monitor patients as ordered by providers and document care
- Respond promptly to patient needs and ensure timely communication
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge plans
- Support patient safety and contribute to positive clinical outcomes
