Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking an experienced nursing leader for the Emergency Department. You will guide staff, mentor teams, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ED setting across multiple facilities.

Ideal candidates hold an NC RN license, have ≥5 years in emergency nursing, and possess leadership experience. A BSN or related degree is preferred, with opportunities for professional development and growth.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license or RN multi-state licensure privilege through the Nurse Licensure Compact required.
• Must have at least one (1) year previous leadership experience.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• BSN or Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in an emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Identify staffing, supply, maintenance, and equipment needs within budget.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork with clinical and support staff.
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based practice and safety standards.
