Job summary

CommonSpirit Health invites applications for an Emergency Services Nurse at the Ahwatukee Hospital Satellite Emergency Department. You will lead nursing care for acutely ill adults, triage, administer treatments, educate families, and document in accordance with hospital protocols.

You will collaborate with physicians, technicians, and staff, adapt to patient condition changes, and advocate for patients while maintaining high-quality care under pressure. A strong clinical foundation is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse: AZ license.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients using emergency protocols and admit or discharge as needed.
• Deliver stabilizing emergency care to patients of all ages as part of the ER team.
• Monitor patient progress, document care, and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Delegate tasks based on patient needs and scope of practice within the team.
