Job summary

Required is an active RN license; BSN is preferred. Candidates should have strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills across medical disciplines to support unit and department goals.

Qualifications

• Required - Current RN license in state of practice.
• Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process in delivering patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching for diverse patients and families.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources within interdisciplinary teams.
• Uses data to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes.
