Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department in Ohio. This night-shift role is scheduled for 36 hours per week, requiring active RN licensure in Ohio or a multi-state compact and BLS certification. A BSN is required within 5 years of employment.

The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care across the continuum, collaborating with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a high-reliability, 24/7 department.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Coordinate and document nursing interventions to meet patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatments and revise plans as needed within a multidisciplinary team.
• Lead process improvements to enhance clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
