Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team. The RN will assess pain, document care, and ensure timely communications with the care team to optimize outcomes.

The role emphasizes patient education for patients and families, adherence to care plans, and proactive response to patient requests, supporting the facility’s mission and high-quality care standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• No Travel Required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team
• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management
• Documents care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
• Teaches patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, and self-care
• Responds to patient requests promptly and supports patient self-management
