Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga is seeking an Acute Care RN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in partnership with the care team. You will follow nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage, and advocate for patients, families, and caregivers.

Collaborate with physicians, document care thoroughly, administer medications as prescribed, respond to patient needs, and educate patients and families about plans and follow-up.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
• Assistant degree (AA/AS) or higher in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts.
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic responses; document care.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively address needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up plans.
