TriStar Centennial Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is interviewing for an Emergency Room Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment in Nashville.

You will collaborate with physicians and care teams, manage pain, document care, and educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-management. This role emphasizes advocacy, safety, and an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of RN experience required.
• ACLS within 60 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN license and active registration in the state.
• Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record promptly.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Teach patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
• Educate patients and families on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management.
