Choctaw Regional Medical Center seeks a compassionate Emergency Department Nurse to assess patients, perform lab work, and support discharge planning. The role involves collaboration with ED physicians, rapid triage, and ensuring high-quality care within the ED setting.

The successful candidate will hold a Mississippi nursing license with current ACLS, PALS, and BLS. TNCC certification should be pursued within 18 months, and adherence to the Board of Nursing scope is required.

Qualifications

• Nurses must maintain Mississippi license and meet licensure requirements.
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS must be current within three months of starting.
• TNCC certification must be achieved within 18 months of employment if applicable.
• Nurses must practice within the scope defined by the Mississippi Board of Nursing.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate care with disciplines to reflect initiative, flexibility, and responsibility.
• Triage safely and accurately for every patient entering the ED.
• Communicate changes with ED physicians regarding status and diagnostics.
• Oversee unit, supervise inventory of patient valuables, and ensure disposition documentation.
• Answer ambulance communications and maintain accurate ED registrations.
