Job summary

Fairview is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN. This Casual (.01 FTE) role includes day, evening, and night shifts.

You will join a 25-bed ED and Level IV trauma center serving 32,000+ patients annually, with a multidisciplinary team and emphasis on evidence-based practice. The unit provides high-quality care with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ED or ICU RN experience.
• MN RN license required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Collaborate with patient, family and other health team members to develop a nursing plan as part of an integrated, comprehensive plan of care.
• Develop an individualized plan based on age, social and cultural considerations, condition and other relevant needs.
• Evaluates care and patient response to interventions and expected outcomes.
• Collaborates and communicates effectively and respectfully with the patient, family and members of the health care team within and across care settings to promote partnership-based health care.
• Demonstrates the ability to advance care by utilizing standards, guidelines, care pathways and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes.
• Promotes a culture of evidence based practice (EBP)
