Job summary

Fairview Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at our Southdale location in Edina, MN. The ED treats diverse patient populations in a level 3 trauma center with 44 beds and 24-hour diagnostic access.

The RN will assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care in alignment with policies and MN nursing practice acts, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification must be completed before end of orientation.
• 1-2 years of RN ED or ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Develop an individualized care plan in collaboration with the health care team.
• Deliver nursing care and evaluate patient response to interventions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and care teams across settings.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
