Job summary

Ally Medical ER is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide professional nursing care in the emergency department. You will triage patients, assess conditions, and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to promote and restore health.

Responsibilities include assisting during exams, administering medications, and documenting care to ensure patient safety and timely discharge. The ideal candidate has ER experience, current RN licensure in Texas, and certifications in

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years ER RN experience.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• CPR/BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged sitting/standing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by evaluating medical complaints and reporting to physicians.
• Assist physicians during exams, procedures, testing, and treatments.
• Perform IV therapy, blood draws, cardiac monitoring, oxygen administration, nebulized treatments, wound care, splinting.
• Recognize and treat life-threatening conditions.
• Conduct head-to-toe assessments for pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Assist with procedures (laceration repair, intubation, chest tube, etc.).
• Administer medications and document in patient records.
• Review discharge instructions and record vitals prior to discharge.
• Document all patient care concisely and timely.
