Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Registered Nurse at Jersey Shore University Medical Center to deliver patient-centered care with up-to-date nursing practices. You will collaborate with nurses and the broader health care team, utilizing bar-scanning tech and electronic records to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and a commitment to ongoing learning and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of nursing experience or active Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
• 2 years of Emergency nursing experience preferred.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs with strong accountability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based care and standards.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and health care team.
• Medication administration using bar-scanning and documentation tech.
• Point-of-Care electronic documentation of patient assessments and plans.
• Patient and family centered education for health and disease management.
• Multi-disciplinary discharging of patients for safe transition.
