Hackensack Meridian Health’s Jersey Shore University Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our patient‑centered team. You will deliver evidence‑based nursing care, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and well‑being.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and a commitment to ongoing learning; ACLS/PALS preferred. Minimum 6 months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation, with a goal of BSN within three years.

Formación

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or active participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
• 2 years of Emergency nursing experience preferred.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Strong teamwork, accountability, and patient-focused care.

Responsabilidades

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care to provide safe, individualized patient care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and health care team regarding patient status and treatment plans.
• Medication administration with bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Point-of-Care electronic documentation of assessments, plan-of-care, interventions and evaluations.
• Patient and family education aimed at optimizing health and disease management.
• Discharging patients to ensure safe transition and continuum of care.
