Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with the State Board of Nurse Examiners for their state.
• Current BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients of all ages in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Perform head-to-toe and psychosocial assessments; re-assess per policy.
• Assign accurate five-level triage categories for timely care.
• Supervise ER Techs, Radiology/CT Techs and other ED staff.
• Administer medications using the five rights of medication administration.
