Job summary

Nutex Health is seeking an Emergency Department RN for Fort Smith to join our on-site team part-time. The RN will perform assessments, triage, and administer emergency care following protocols across all ages.

Responsibilities include supervising ER staff, communicating with patients and families, and collaborating with physicians to develop care plans. Ongoing education and quality initiatives are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Two years of emergency room experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Current BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with head-to-toe evaluations to determine severity.
• Triage patients based on urgency to ensure timely care.
• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages per protocols.
• Administer medications with adherence to five rights.
• Supervise ER technicians and healthcare staff.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and plans.
• Collaborate with physicians to implement care plans.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety.
• Engage in ongoing education and quality improvement.
