Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
• Strong analytic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, identifies outcomes, plans, coordinates care, and evaluates progress.
• Directs care and manages use of any nursing assistants.
• Collaborates with patients, families, physicians and staff to create a documented care plan focused on outcomes.
• Participates in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions and updates the care plan accordingly.
• Utilizes current evidence to guide practice decisions.
