Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at the Marlborough/Nashoba Valley facility. This non-exempt role is 24 hours with an evening shift (10:45A-11:15P). Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS certification is preferred.

A signing bonus may be available, with pay between $38.65 and $78.34 per hour, depending on hours and experience. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, medication administration, and education for patients

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS required for every RN; ACLS required if not current.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process to manage patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs assessments and develops care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs and documents nursing care and coordinates education for patient/family.
• Administers medications and supports physician with procedures.
• Participates in quality improvement and governance activities.
• Maintains professional growth and staff development.
