Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of ED experience, are licensed RNs, and support collaborative teamwork within a Level II Trauma Center community hospital. Shift 6:45am–7:15pm; comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with required certifications (BLS).
• 1 year of recent hospital acute care ED experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN).
• Must follow Texas Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care using a professional practice model and create care plans.
• Assess patients, recognize issues, and delegate tasks based on team competencies.
• Educate patients and families; document learning needs; ensure safety and quality.
• Collaborate with ED team to triage and manage care in a high-acuity environment.
