Job summary

Emerus is hiring an experienced ER nurse for a day shift (7am–7pm) at a 16-bed small-format hospital in Wisconsin. You will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department, applying advanced clinical skills to ensure patient comfort and safety.

The role requires current RN licensure, an associate degree (BSN preferred), and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification. You will document thoroughly, follow physician orders, and participate in labs, infection control, and

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency for written and spoken communication.
• ER or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the ER.
• Document accurately and legibly in medical records.
• Monitor and record signs, symptoms, and patient status.
• Follow physician orders and deliver nursing care accordingly.
• Collect labs, adhere to infection control and aseptic technique.
• Handle admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
