Job summary

You will document accurately and educate patients and families as needed. Requirements include a BSN preferred, RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS Certification with orientation and ongoing competency validations.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred for nursing practice.
• Active RN license in state of employment or compact.
• Current BLS certification required for all staff.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within specified time frames.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care following the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms and care given.
• Educate patients and families; address learning needs and resources.
