HCA Florida Largo Hospital in Largo, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Medicine - Freestanding Emergency Room to deliver safe, high-quality patient care with strong staffing and resources. The RN will work with physicians and the care team to assess, monitor, teach and manage patient care in a fast-paced ED.

The role requires ACLS/BCLS within 30 days, PALS/ENPC within 30 days, NIH Stroke Scale within 6 months, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months, with an Associate

Competenze

• RN (Associate Degree) required.
• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date required.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date required.
• PALS or ENPC within 30 days of employment start date required.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 6 months of employment start date required.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months of employment start date required.

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental standards.
• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered; documents care in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and proactively addresses needs.
• Teaches patients/families about condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up.
• Prepares patients and families for future self-management.
