Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or compact license with authorization to practice in Florida (must convert to Florida license within 60 days).
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete orders on a variety of patients from minor treatment to acutely ill.
• Perform accurate triages and discharges of patients of all ages and identify patients with critical needs.
• Perform medication management in relation to administration, record maintenance, and storage.
• Input discharge instructions and prescriptions into computer software.
• Perform quality splinting, dressing applications, and wound care.
• Conduct EKGs/cardiac monitoring and recognize arrhythmias.
• Prepare procedures per organizational protocols (I&D, sutures, etc.).
• Communicate positively with all team members and patients.
• Delegate duties to PCC's, Lab Staff and Radiology Staff.
• Initiate Pre-MD evaluation orders to expedite patient care.
