Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in nursing school or other medical specialty required.
• Completion of a Certified Nurse Attendant course preferred.
• Three (3) months previous Nurse Attendant experience in an emergency room setting or equivalent EMT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the professional staff by performing various patient care activities and related non-professional services.
• Deliver patient care in Emergency Department as directed by the Director or Registered Nurse as appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• Maintain departmental policies, safety, infection control, and quality improvement standards.
