Mount St. Mary’s Hospital, part of Catholic Health, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Service Unit in Lewiston, NY. You will deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation while upholding safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in New York State is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BLS must be current within 60 days of placement; ACLS and PALS within 12 months.
• BSN degree preferred for consideration.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse delivers patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation per patient age and clinical practice areas.
• Maintains departmental policies, quality improvement, safety, infection control and confidentiality.
• Maintains patient charts, coordinates with care teams and supports emergency services operations.
• Works evenings with weekend and holiday rotation; primary shift 10:00a-10:30p, secondary 9:00a-9:30p.
