Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ED to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

The RN will perform essential nursing duties, collaborate with the ED team, and support patients through admission, treatment, and discharge processes during night shifts, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, with a 7.5-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate required or equivalent with vocational/technical training preferred.
• Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Graduate of State Certified Program or 1 year clinical experience as a nursing student/foreign graduate nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance during activities of daily living for patients across all ages.
• Maintains hygiene and grooming needs of patients.
• Obtains and documents vital signs as directed.
• Transports patients and equipment within the unit.
• Prepares patients for surgery and assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
