Job summary

Advocate Health Union West - Emergency Department in North Carolina seeks a Nurse Aide II to assist in patient care under RN supervision. Position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with benefits eligible and a 9a-9p schedule on a rotating weekend. Pay range listed as $20.80–$31.20 per hour.

The role includes assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, hygiene, and basic clinical tasks within the patient environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for new hires on or after 7/22/2018.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide II.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assists in activities of daily living for patients/residents.
• Takes vital signs and height/weight measurements.
• Assists with personal hygiene and feeding as needed.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly; observes and reports changes.
• Performs clerical tasks and maintains medical records as assigned.
• Conducts 12-lead EKGs and routine venipuncture when trained.
