Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Nursing Assistant for Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department in North Carolina. The role is full‑time, 36 hours per week, with a pay range of 15.75 to 23.65 USD per hour, and benefits eligible. You will assist in basic patient care, observations, documentation, and daily care under the supervision of licensed nurses.

No prior experience is required, and training programs are provided. BLS is required; successful completion of Nurse Aide I is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a Nurse Aide I training program/competency evaluation.
• BLS required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report patient appearance, vitals, and reactions to care.
• Document temperatures, pulse, respirations, and other vital signs.
• Assist in hygiene, mobility, feeding, and daily care under supervision.
• Maintain a safe, clean patient environment and proper equipment functionality.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes as needed.
• Respond to call lights and support nursing staff in patient care tasks.
