Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina is seeking a Nurse Aide I/II to join the Emergency Department at Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with weekend and holiday requirements. You will support daily living activities, take vital signs, assist with hygiene, and help with documentation and clerical tasks.

Requires high school diploma, NAI/II certification, and BLS. Compensation ranges from $19.80 to $29.70 per hour, with comprehensive benefits, and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I or with the applicable state Board of Nursing as a Nurse Aide II.
BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
Assists patients/residents with personal hygiene.
Takes vital signs and height and weight measurements.
Feeds and ambulates patients/residents according to specific procedures.
Maintains patient/resident's rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
Observes and reports changes in patient/resident conditions.
Orients patients/families to unit and instructs patient on safety measures.
Assists with clerical work such as answering phones, entering data and maintaining medical records.
Maintains stock supply items in inventory management.
Performs duties as outlined in Nurse Aide I/II tasks per state Nurse Aide list.
Administers a 12-Lead EKG test and routine venipuncture.
