Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide II for the Emergency Department at 36102 Atrium Health Union West. This full-time role supports patient activities of daily living under RN supervision, maintains a clean unit, and participates in vital signs, hygiene, and mobility tasks.

Clear documentation and PHI handling are required in a fast-paced ED setting. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, active Nurse Aide II registry, and BLS certification, with 36 hours per week and a 9a–9p

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for new hires on or after 7/22/2018.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide II.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists patients/residents with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and height and weight measurements.
• Feeds and ambulates patients/residents according to specific procedures.
• Maintains patient/resident's rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
• Observes and reports changes in patient/resident conditions.
