Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, GA seeks a part-time Emergency Department RN for a 12-hour night shift. The RN will work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, individualized patient care across all ages in a 25-bed ED focused on cardiology and stroke care.

Qualifications include active Georgia RN license, graduation from an accredited program, and recent refresher if needed. Prior ED experience is preferred and equal opportunity employment is offered.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Refresher course if nursing practice hasn't occurred in 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, evaluate, and modify the care plan.
• Collaborate with Care Team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provide care using nursing process and standard guidelines.
• Maintain professional accountability for care over assigned patient group.
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care during ED visits.
