Job summary

Temple Health invites applications for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at the Jeanes Campus. This is a 36-hour night flex shift (7pm-7:30am) with duties guided by licensed physicians and nursing standards.

The RN will assess, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with families and the health-care team to tailor plans. Prior certification and licensure are required, with preferred experience in the clinical specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the clinical specialty is preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse License is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Multi-State Compact RN license required or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under physician direction.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the health-care team to individualize care using the nursing process.
• Direct nursing support staff in accordance with standards and policies.
