Job summary

Temple University Health System, Inc. invites applications for an RN – Staff Emergency Dept on the Episcopal Campus (7pm–7:30am).

The RN assesses, implements and evaluates care for assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician, using the nursing process and collaborating with patients, families and the health care team. Required: PA Registered Nurse License, Basic Life Support, and Multi-State Compact RN License.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• 1 year experience in area of clinical specialty Preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse License Required.
• Basic Life Support Required.
• Multi State Compact RN License Required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician.
• Collaborate with patient, family members/significant others and health care team to individualize patient care.
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to standards and policies.
• Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.
