Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a registered nurse for the night shift in the Emergency Room. You will deliver patient care from admission to discharge, administer medications, and coordinate discharge planning with a collaborative care team.

Required MA nursing licensure and BLS; ACLS preferred. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for external hires, with a weekend and holiday rotation as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN.
• ACLS certification is preferred if current.
• BSN degree highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Administers medications and assists physicians with procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Collaborates with other health care providers to ensure quality care.
• Performs nursing duties with appropriate supervision and governance.
