Qualifications

• RN license required
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing required
• 1-year ER nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Care for a group of patients in a hospital setting using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Organize and update plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others
• Identify patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepare room environment
• Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments
• Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
• Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients
• Exhibit high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience
