Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of EMT/Advanced EMT/Paramedic program.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely emergency medical care and intervention.
• Prepares patients for examination and schedules tests; transports patients safely.
• Records vital signs, collects specimens, and performs venipuncture when needed.
• Documents care, monitors patient responses, and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Performs IV therapy setup and monitoring; conducts EKGs and phlebotomy.
• Communicates with staff to coordinate care and ensures safety and HIPAA compliance.
• Completes clerical duties and participates in continuous training.
