Job summary

Qualifications

• EMT certification required.
• AEMT preferred.
• Paramedic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care as directed by the Charge/Registered Nurse.
• Monitor and reassess vital signs including pulse oximetry; document findings.
• Position patients for examinations and procedures; assist with transportation.
• Perform phlebotomy per protocol and safety standards.
• Provide orthopedic services after training; apply splints or remove casts as ordered.
• Perform EKGs as required; document and report observations.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA policies.
