Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis is seeking an EMT-Paramedic to assist nursing and medical staff in delivering patient care, including exams, tests, and medication administration, in accordance with established standards.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, managing equipment, monitoring vitals, coordinating tests, and safe patient transport. This role requires teamwork and crisis response in a high-stakes emergency setting.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of an approved Paramedic program.
• Qualified to work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience; 6 months as Paramedic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely emergency medical care in ER and critical care areas.
• Take vital signs, prepare specimens, and assist with tests.
• Administer medications as ordered and manage IV therapy.
• Ensure patient safety, documentation, and communication with staff.
• Transport patients and perform clerical duties as needed.

Education
