Job summary

Join Jenkins County Medical Center’s Emergency Department as a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). In this role, you will perform vital patient assessments and deliver hands-on nursing care to patients experiencing urgent health needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency or acute care preferred; trauma experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures.
• Familiarity with infection control and sterile processing standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, including vital signs and evaluations.
• Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members during diagnostic processes.
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
