Job summary

Optim Healthcare in Sylvania, GA seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for ER night shifts (7pm-7am). You will provide primary patient care, perform assessments, and coordinate treatment plans in a fast-paced ED setting.

The role requires an active RN license, current CPR, and at least one year of nursing experience; BSN is preferred. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, accurate documentation, and timely communication with physicians.

Qualifications

• Must be an RN licensed in the state.
• Completion of nursing training from an accredited school.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum one year of professional nursing experience; clinic experience preferred.
• Current CPR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient consent for care, documents health history, vital signs, and risk factors; assesses disease condition.
• Executes treatments, administers medications, monitors progress and response; consults with physicians when needed.
• Documents assessment and intervention data in medical records using established forms.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
• Educates patients and families about health status, maintenance, and disease management.
• Tracks quality assurance data and supports chronic care management efforts.
