Zusammenfassung

Tyvan LLC is seeking an ER Lab Tech PRN to support both clinical laboratory operations and emergency department activities. The role includes basic lab procedures, specimen collection, patient care support, and on-call availability in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, EMT license or CNA experience preferred, and BLS certification; ACLS/PALS are a plus. Training is offered for the right candidate to ensure high-quality emergency and lab patient care.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Preference for EMT license or CNA experience; BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Aufgaben

• Collect and prepare specimens such as blood, urine, and other bodily fluids following established protocols.
• Assist with basic laboratory testing and operate simple lab equipment under supervision.
• Support patient care in the emergency department and communicate effectively with staff and patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab and ED areas and equipment.
• Record and document laboratory and patient care activities accurately and securely.
• Assist with inventory management of lab and ED supplies and reagents.
• Perform patient care procedures such as vital signs, venipuncture, IV placement, and wound care as needed.
• Support the electronic medical records system and ensure patient data is current.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and hospital policies.
