Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care with supervision.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• 2 years hospital-based experience with recent clinical work.
• Complete online competencies with 80% or higher.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC/NRP requirements vary by unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients; assist with assessments and treatments.
• Administer medications under provider direction following policies.
• Assist in emergencies under provider supervision.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and diagnoses.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Take accountability for care provided and documented by others as appropriate.
