Henry Ford Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Regional Float within the Henry Ford Staffing department in Michigan. The RN will provide direct patient care across multiple units, embracing a flexible float model to cover nights and various shifts.

The role requires strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Minimum requirement: graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Michigan RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations and adapt to diverse clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across units and develop individualized care plans.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and detect changes early.
• Administer medications, wound care, and postoperative care as directed.
• Educate patients and families and document care accurately.
• Communicate with the care team to coordinate patient-centered care.
• Orient quickly to different units and care protocols within the float pool.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and safe patient care practices.
• Work day and night shifts as scheduled to meet staffing needs.
